Mineral programs traditionally used in poultry farming are based on inorganic sources or on organic minerals, supplied individually.
Nurio Chicken takes a different approach: it brings together seven essential chelated minerals in a single molecular structure, designed to maintain stability throughout the gastrointestinal tract.
This production process aims to favor better mineral delivery, reducing undesirable interactions during digestion and increasing their availability for physiological processes related to growth, tissue integrity, immune response, and production performance.

Impact on Flock Performance

A nutritional program's performance is measured by its ability to be efficient under commercial conditions. A study conducted in Brazil in 2025 showed that broilers supplemented with Nurio Chicken had higher weight at slaughter (about 100 grams more per bird), and improved carcass yield compared to the conventional mineral program.
The effects were also observed in the early stages of production. In the first days of the cycle, supplemented birds showed a 4% improvement in feed conversion, indicating a rapid metabolic response and more efficient nutrient utilization.
Observations conducted under international commercial conditions reinforce this production pattern, with consistent improvement in zootechnical indicators compared to equivalent inorganic mineral programs. In specific evaluations, similar results were also observed with lower mineral inclusion levels, indicating potential for optimizing the nutritional program without compromising performance.
Rather than simply improving performance, our goal is to increase mineral utilization efficiency throughout the cycle, favoring production consistency and better use of the birds' zootechnical potential.

Gut health, immune response, and broiler performance

In broiler production, zootechnical performance and health status are directly related. Changes in gut integrity, health challenges, or environmental stressors tend to compromise feed intake, nutrient digestibility, feed efficiency, and flock uniformity.
At the same time, the ban on using antimicrobials as growth promoters requires the adoption of nutritional strategies capable of sustaining performance under challenging conditions.
It's in this context that mineral nutrition takes on a more strategic role.
In evaluations conducted on international commercial farms, under coccidiosis challenge, birds supplemented with Nurio Chicken showed production performance similar to that observed with conventional programs using coccidiostats, demonstrating positive responses in parameters related to gut integrity, inflammatory control, and antioxidant status. Lower mortality rates were also observed compared to the infected, non-supplemented group.
Similar responses were observed under heat stress and mycotoxin exposure conditions, with indications of a positive response in protecting liver function and reducing effects associated with oxidative stress.
In the study conducted in Brazil in 2025, a reduction in liver lipid oxidation markers (32% to 53%) was observed, indicating lower oxidative damage to the liver and better physiological response capacity under challenging conditions.
As a result, it's possible to have a flock of healthier birds using less medication.
In high-intensity production systems, sustaining gut integrity, metabolic balance, and immune response is essential to maintaining performance throughout the production cycle.

Nurio Chicken for layers

In egg production, production consistency, shell quality, and laying persistence are factors directly related to the profitability of the system. Sustaining performance throughout the cycle, while preserving final product quality and feed efficiency, is a central part of the nutritional challenge in modern layers.
In evaluations conducted under commercial conditions, birds supplemented with Nurio Chicken showed improvement in production indicators, such as laying rate and feed efficiency, compared to conventional inorganic mineral programs, even with a lower mineral inclusion level (~66% of the inclusion). These results suggest better mineral utilization and greater nutrient utilization efficiency throughout the production cycle.
When evaluating egg quality, favorable responses were observed in parameters related to shell strength, indicating a reduction in losses associated with cracks and breaks, one of the main factors of economic impact in commercial production.
The effects were also reflected in the composition of the final product. Eggs from hens supplemented with Nurio Chicken showed greater deposition of minerals such as zinc and selenium in the yolk, along with desirable indicators in the lipid profile, such as an increase in omega-3 fatty acids and greater oxidative stability during storage.
